Are you running Vista?  Try starting SDC as an admin (right-click on the icon | "Run as admin").

Whoops, sorry for the lack of OS info! It's Windows XP x64 SP2 (up-to-date on patches). I'm in full control as admin (etc)...everything seems to be going well 'till that point, then BAM...stops. Reading 42% complete right now, been like that for ~ 30 minutes or so. Cheers!

Can you delete C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\Installed\wb6.log and wb6.xml?
That might help.  (back up first by renaming)

The file that I referenced above was in the 'temp' directory. Zubaz, the 'Installed' directory only contained the 'wb6.log', not 'wb6.xml'. I removed the wb6.log (didn't see anything obviously wrong in the log.

It just stops abruptly as you can see.

I think I'll just open a ticket...was thinking maybe just clearing the temp would work (which I learned where SDCentral's temp dir is during this thread/problem). Thanks for the assistance!
